Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and pro-active HR Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous HR experience or looking to start their career in HR.
As the HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support and assistance to the People Function, covering a wide range of HR activities from recruitment and on boarding, payroll and benefits, HR metrics to supporting on People projects.
This role will report into the Senior People Business Partner and you will work closely with the People Function to support managers and colleagues across all people related activity.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting on boarding processes
- Maintaining HR and payroll systems, colleague files and keeping filing up to date
- Assisting in monthly payroll processing
- Administration of employee benefits
- Producing monthly People metrics and assisting the production of reports
- Dealing with general colleague enquiries and managing the People Function inbox
- Supporting recruitment activities as and when required
- General support to the People Function and assisting on People projects
The role will involve hybrid working with a mix of home and onsite working at our site in Nottingham.
Your Skills and Experience
You will be customer focused and passionate about delivering an engaging and effective HR service to all colleagues and stakeholders. You will be an excellent communicator and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build great working relationships across the organisation. You should be a team player with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to support your colleagues.
To be successful at the role you will also need:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- Good IT literacy and a good knowledge of Microsoft packages
- A high-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with experiencing of analysing data
Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential for the role.
