Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work in a team that helps get new medicines to market? We have an opening for a Clinical Research Technician to join us on a temporary basis for 6 months in our Clinical Operations department, at Quotient's site in Nottingham.
As Clinical Research Technician, you will play a key role in providing a safe and caring environment for our volunteers who take part in our clinical trials.
General tasks of Clinical Research Technicians include taking vital signs i.e. blood pressure and ECG’s and taking blood samples in order to obtain high quality study data.
Your role is essential to our volunteer experience and crucial to the development of new medicines.
You do not have to have any previous experience as we will provide you with the highest quality training.
Our positions involve shift and weekend work.
This role is based at our Nottingham site.
We want to hear from candidates who have:
- A minimum of GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent) with good numeracy and literacy skills
- A high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- Good IT literacy
- Previous experience in a clinical role, following protocols is desirable, but not essential
