The Role

Due to an increased number of projects within our Pharmaceutical Sciences department we have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior QC Analytical Scientist to join our team in Nottingham.

You will be responsible for the analytical testing of stability and QC samples to support batch release into the on-site clinic for each project work you are involved in. This will include completing all paperwork associated with this such as write ups, generating drug product specifications, CofAs and assisting with laboratory investigations.

In this role, you may have direct interactions with colleagues and peers in client organisations to discuss the testing you are involved in and also laboratory investigations.  You will also have line management of a small group of QC analysts.  

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be Degree level qualification in Chemistry and will have a minimum of three years’ work experience in a Pharmaceutical Analysis role. You will also have a good knowledge of HPLC and dissolution methodologies.

Effective oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and attention to detail are paramount.

You should be reliable, enthusiastic and self-motivated as well as having excellent communication skills both written and verbally. Strong IT skills and experience of completing documentation with a high degree of accuracy is also a must.
