The Role

The Email & Social Media Marketing Associate is positioned at the forefront of Quotient’s awareness and communication strategy. You will champion the design, planning and execution of all social media and email marketing initiatives. Success in this role will be demonstrated via increased brand awareness, customer engagement metrics and ultimately new lead generation.  

You will be required to maintain a robust and compelling social media content calendar aligned with the rhythms of our strategic marketing campaign calendar. You will create social media content and email campaigns with engaging layouts and attention-grabbing content. You will create and maintain clean, accurate and up-to-date mailing lists in SalesForce.com and Pardot and will be required to run data segmentation reports to assess results. Other, ad-hoc activities in support of the wider marketing function will be necessary from time to time.

Responsibilities

  • Owner of social planning and executing: Trafficking, scheduling, optimizing, trouble shooting and reporting for all social channels 
  • Create platform-specific content (photo, video, stories) and copy, with brand-appropriate positioning for style, voice/personality 
  • Social community management: Monitoring channels for opportunities, engaging and ensuring brand-related questions, comments, and opportunities are addressed with speed, good judgment, and in alignment with the brand voice 
  • Championing lead generation: Developing a program to leverage new tools/techniques and messaging to drive lead generation from social 
  • Leveraging social media ad platforms, to ensure consistent advertising messaging and conversion tracking  
  • Develop and build out a brand presence on new social media platforms for the brand, such as Instagram 
  • Analyze and assess performance across social channels through regular reporting, including on performance of individual posts and content, as well as broad trends across platforms.  
  • Educate the broader teams on trends, new features, and offerings in the social media sphere 
  • Create email campaigns that are aligned with annual marketing campaigns that are focused on awareness and lead generation 
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of email campaigns via Pardot marketing automation platform (emails, landing pages, forms) to increase engagement 
  • Liaise with Events team to support email outreach for upcoming tradeshows, conferences, seminars, and webinars 
  • Create platform-specific content (photo, video, stories) and copy, with brand-appropriate positioning for style, voice/personality 
  • Create and consult on database segmentation and distribution lists for campaigns, including requirements gathering, development/build, testing, and execution (design templates, calls-to-action, email nurture streams and lead scoring model) 
  • Maintain contact lists and account records with relevant information in Salesforce.com and in Pardot, to maintain and optimize email deliverability and ensure legal compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) 

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT or similar field with a minimum 3-5 years’ experience 
  • Hands-on experience planning and executing social media and email programs with a high attention to detail and time-management  
  • Extensive understanding of the Pardot email marketing platform and best practices, including compliance with US CAN-SPAM, GDPR and other appropriate regulations globally 
  • Excellent copywriter and copyeditor with a proven track record to be concise, yet impactful in the established brand voice and tone  
  • Extensive understanding of the inner workings of social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) and how each platform may be exploited most efficiently in different scenarios 
  • Experience using social moderation, calendaring, and scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Sprinklr, CoSchedule, etc. 
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to successfully communicate and work with key internal and external stakeholders 
  • Proficient MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
