The Role

Quotient Sciences are expanding rapidly, with a clear commitment to drug substance development and manufacture ands have recently announced a $8m investment in a new kilo lab facility which will be fully operational in 2022. We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse and Goods In Operator to be responsible for coordinating activities associated with the goods in and stores area. The role will be to support the warehouse and goods in manager and wider business in ensuring the correct stock is maintained and supplies are ordered and distributed efficiently.

Key Tasks:

  • Responsible for the organisation and efficient running of the Goods In / Store.
  • Supporting the Warehouse and Goods In Manager as required
  • Ensuring goods are received in compliance with company procedures
  • Logging, labelling and directing/delivering goods received to end users as per company procedures
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring all equipment and store cupboards are kept clean and locked when not in use.
  • Daily scanning and filing of receipts paperwork
  • Arranging inter-site transfers of goods
  • Conducting regular physical stock checks
  • Reviewing non-GMP warehouse usage levels to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained
  • Liaising with central Procurement team regarding delivery discrepancies and returns

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) English, Mathematics 
  • Computer literate 
  • Full UK driving licence 
  • Experience working within a Stores environment 
  • Fork Lift Truck Licence
