Quotient Sciences have a full-time opportunity for a Cleanroom Technician based at our Reading (Pharmaterials) facility. As the Cleanroom Technician, you will contribute to the success of the business through effective support of manufacturing and scientific staff in the manufacturing areas (GMP). Responsibilities include cleaning laboratory and manufacturing areas and maintaining appropriate levels of glassware / consumables.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
This role is fundamental to ensuring regulatory standards are met within the manufacturing & laboratory areas at Quotient Sciences. The Cleanroom Technician will be required to perform routine scheduled cleaning of the manufacturing facility as well as ad hoc cleaning as required by analytical and development teams.
You will also perform washing and drying glassware as required, monitor and maintain levels of consumables within laboratory areas, and support scientific staff with associated tasks as and when required.
Other duties include keeping detailed and accurate records in Logbooks of all work undertaken where required, ensuring that all records are clear, concise and legible at all times.
In addition to the above, it you will comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Health & safety policies and keep your training file up to date.
The successful candidate will have a very high attention to detail and must be able to manage multiple tasks/issues simultaneously. Due to the nature of the role, you will be working in a hazardous environment with high requirement to follow safety procedures. In order to meet business needs, it is essential the successful candidate has a flexible approach, and is motivated to work to strict and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within similar regulated industries, such as, pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing.
