The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Handler – Dispenser in Boothwyn, PA.  As the Material’s handler-dispenser duties for the facility include cleaning of the warehouse, dispensing room, providing physical support in the movement of materials and dispensing materials.       

Other tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Perform Cleaning of the sampling/dispensing room and raw material containers.
  • Provide physical support in the movement of materials.
  • Delivering or routing material to different departments or staging areas in the facility using material handling equipment (MHE) such as hand truck, forklift or carts when required.
  • Staging and de-staging of materials
  • Basic computer skills to make real-time adjustments in inventory system and responding to emails.
  • Raw material (API/excipient/component) dispensing
  • Dispensing of bulk and finished products.
  • Performs housekeeping to assure the Warehouse is continuously maintained in a safe and orderly condition and in accordance with GMP practices.
  • Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, EPA, DOT, OSHA, and DEA.  Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
  • Be flexible with shift time to support dispensing activities and available for any overtime planned
  • Makes a positive contribution as demonstrated by:
  • Making suggestions for improvement
  • Learning new skills, procedures, and processes

 

The Candidate

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in dispensing materials in GMP environment is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Organizational skills
  • Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining speed of work and attention to detail without loss to production
  • Ability to take appropriate actions in cases of emergency, critical or hazardous situations.
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic mathematical skills.
