As a result of our ongoing growth and success, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our Clinical Operations team.
In this role you will support a dynamic team of Clinical staff by setting up laboratory protocols, processing all biological samples and ensuring shipment to third parties for analysis. The role will involve working to deliver high quality study data in accordance with ICH-GCP whilst ensuring strict timelines and data quality standards are met.
The Laboratory Technician will be required to handle a large volume of samples. Sample analysis is not carried out at Quotient, therefore you will be responsible for the reconciliation of all samples that enter the lab and managing the shipment of these samples to 3rd parties who will conduct the analysis offsite.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into clinical research and gain thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP, EU Directives and local regulatory requirements and Phase I Clinical activities.
The ideal candidates will have a minimum of A- Level or equivalent in a science based subject and experience in a science, health or laboratory field would be preferred. A high attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, excellent communication, good interpersonal skills and basic word and Excel knowledge are essential in this role. This position is based at our Nottingham site and will involve shift and weekend work.
